How to compute for Statistical Points
Statistical Points: Choosing the MVP and Mythical Five per Division
- Category for obtaining statistical points:
- 1 point, for each point scored in the game
- 1.5 points, for each rebound, assist, steal, and block.
- 10 points, for each game won in which he plays.
- 10 points, if his team enters the semifinals.
- 10 points, if his team enters the finals.
- 10 points, if his team wins the championship.
- If an opponent defaults a game, players of the winning team gets 10 points, plus statistical points based on their averages per game.
- The player with the most statistical points at the end of the tournament will be the Division MVP or Most Valuable Player.
- In case of a tie, the player whose team finished with a higher standing will be the MVP.
- If the players are from the same team, the player with the higher statistical points during the last game of the team will win the MVP award. If still equal, their statistical points will be compared on each preceding game until one player has an advantage.
- The top five (5) players with the highest statistical points will be the Division Mythical Five. In case of a tie, the procedure in numbers 3. and 4. will be applied.
Defensive Statistical Points – Best Defensive Player per division
- How a player gets defensive statistical points:
a. 1 point, for each defensive rebound.
b. 2 points, for each steal and block.
c. 5 points, for each game won in which he plays.
- The player with the most defensive statistical points at the end of the tournament will be the Division Best Defensive Player.
- In case of a tie, nos. 3-4 of previous section will be applied.
